Regrettably we have had to suspend shipping to the EU and Northern Ireland due to the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) update.
This new legislation requires businesses to have an EU-based representative to confirm product safety information. Unfortunately, this is at a substantial cost to small businesses and will inevitably prevent many businesses from being able to sell their products to the EU and Northern Ireland.
Unfortunately, the current advice around the GPSR is very unclear and there is not much solid information about how this affects smaller businesses, specifically those who produce handcrafted products.
To ensure compliance with the GPSR we have, unfortunately, made the decision to suspend shipping to the EU and Northern Ireland until we can get further guidance.
I am absolutely devastated for our lovely international customers and am working on finding a way in which we can continue shipping happy mail to those who want to support us from these countries.
